The parade also gave me the perfect opportunity to finally wear the gold Karen Millen frock that has been hanging in the back of my wardrobe for over a year!

Its a reminder of my one claim to fame, but its way too over the top for a night out (and more importantly, it also makes me look a total heifer!).

It was my first time at Pride and I was amazed by the sheer scale of it.
