First, we had a top dj and a great venue. Then we had the incomparable Dino Casino and the International Playboys of Rhythm to get the night really going, and to really blow the roof off, the brilliant Pleasuredome. Pleasuredome in particular, just knocked everyone for six.

Add in, Kirsty's wonderful bunch of friends and colleagues, and it was definitely a night that will be remembered for a long time. I was also delighted as the lovely Laura Handbag, Tina and Tracey of T&T and local(ish) girl Lorraine where all able to attend.

The rather large venue was full, and I think that that in itself was a significant tribute to this lovely woman. To be honest, I doubt that I actually know that many people, and no way would I attract that many to a party. A point which was lost on no one, and which I overheard time and again throughout the night. The reason we were all there? Simply because our lives are the richer for having had Kirsty in them.
