| Theres a thread going around on Facebook, and I thought I should put my bit of it here. Now normally I avoid things like this like the plague, but when I started to doodle the first things that came into my head I was actually rather surprised. Anyway here you go. If nothing else you'll learn a little bit more about me!

1.In a previous life, I used to teach Karate.
2.I love to travel, but hate being a tourist.
3.I always lie when someone asks me what I do for a living. Especially if its my boss.
4.A man once tried to mug me and the "lesbian bitch" I was snogging after a night out in Manchester (see 1).
5.My trannie friend from Switzerland once bumped into my ex lover from New York while in the rain forests of Peru. Like you do.
6.Apparently my family figured out I was transgendered when I was about 12, before that they thought I was gay. I sometimes wish they'd thought to mention this to me as it was many years later before I figured it out.
7.I'd say my only particular talent is that I never give up (hence 1). I've learnt as I've got older that this is not always a good thing.
8.I'm not transsexual nor a transvestite. And that's actually official!
9.I'm rather in awe of people who have musical or artistic talents.
10.I once dated a woman who knew far more about being trans then I did.
11.I often complement complete strangers on how they look – and its not a line to get in their knicks. I once told a guy at a party that he looked so cool he should be a rock star, he laughed and thanked me. When I returned to my friend she said "Look Kasabian are over there, come on, I’ll introduce you". Err, no need…
12.The Matrix opened my eyes to a whole new world. The scene where Neo meets Trinity just blew me away "Fk! I want to go to clubs like that!!". Now I do.
13.I'm a very tactile affectionate person, I've never had a happy relationship with someone who doesn’t hug, spoon or hold hands.
14.As a kid, I had a 36" waist. Now its 28" (24" in a corset).
15.Last Friday night I was propositioned 3 times while waiting 5 minutes for a cab. This is a record, and also marks the first and last time I try and dress down for a night out.
16.I don’t have a TV.
17.I never want to go home once I'm dolled up for a night out.
18.The most frightening thing that's happened to me was getting arrested for being trans while visiting a friend in Guatemala. (But the people I met there made me feel very welcome).
19.I'd never ever have genital surgery, I like having bits in my knicks! But I do have serious breast envy…
20.I can be naïve, romantic, emotional. I seem to cry a lot, I’m not really sure why.
21.I "saved myself" for someone I was in love with. I lost my virginity to my first love and best friend Helen in her room at the halls of residence. It was my birthday and that was her present. I was 20 and I really didn't have a clue. Some say I still don't.
22.I'm an optimist. The glass is always half full, but lets top it up anyway!
23.I get totally tongue tied when I meet someone I'm really attracted to.
24.I was really lonely as a kid. I always wanted to fit in, to be one of the gang, one of "them" but of course I never was. Then a few years ago it dawned on me that there might not be as many of "us" but we sure have a much better time!
25.Since first going out as Karol, I've felt every year of my life has been so much better than the one before. So please get out of those closets!! Its quite simply soul destroying.
